Throughout my life, I have been passionate about the representation of individuals and the ability to empower someone just by telling their story. I believe in humanity, diversity and neutrality. I hope for equal representation and believe this achievable with the right knowledge and strategies. My educational background is in health, contingency planning and crisis management. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and I am currently undertaking a Master of Science degree in Crisis and Disaster Management which is recognised by The United Nations ( with a focus on mass migration and cultural conflict). During my career, I have focused on the hazards response, humanitarian response, vulnerability, cultural racism, equality and discrimination. I have worked with disadvantaged individuals who have been subjected to prejudice and cultural bias, this led to me and a co-worker forming a social enterprise that empowers the young people of our communities to voice their truth to help others that are struggling. Working with thousands of young children throughout the world. I member of the World Youth Forum and have spoken at TedxEuston Salon on the issues that plague our nations. I have skills in risk reduction, GIS and GPS. I plan to continue making the change that is needed and empowering individuals to share their story.
