My name is Wendeline Kawxamas, born in Tsumeb, Namibia, just after the Apartheid Era in 1995. Growing up in a post-apartheid Namibia, I developed a deep passion for harmony and peace. My early life experiences shaped my ability to resolve conflicts and promote understanding.
As a child, I mediated toy-sharing disputes among siblings, stood up against bullying in school, and helped classmates resolve playground conflicts. One notable instance was when I helped resolve a disagreement about netball court usage by suggesting a teacher-assisted time-keeping solution. I also mediated family disagreements, promoting calm communication and suggesting solutions like taking breaks to revisit issues calmly.
My passion for peace led me to work with Project Hope, where I contributed to community development initiatives. Although my contract expired, I’m eager to continue making a positive impact.
As a Global Peace Ambassador, I’ll apply my skills to foster harmony and inclusivity globally.
