Washington is a community development worker. I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies Honours Degree and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Science Special Honours Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation and graduating in June 2020. A result-oriented individual with knowledge of providing administrative support to complete projects. I have substantive experience in community development work as well as experience in voluntary in local NGO’s. I have been involved in a number of community initiatives in issues to do with, Sexual Reproductive Health, Menstrual Health and Hygiene, Education and Leadership, HIV/AIDS, Child Protection, Food and Nutrition, and Gender and Development mostly in rural areas. Currently a Program Assistant for an organization called Talia Women’s Network, an organization that seeks to empower young women, girls, and youth with life skills to harness economic and social opportunities, inspiring change and bringing transformation to their lives and communities. My responsibilities include providing support for the economic empowerment and leadership development programs that the organization run.
