Rt.Hon.(Amb) Dr. Usman Bashir Shagari was born in Sokoto state Nigeria, from Shagari local government. He started his early education in Sokoto where he later move to Abuja for secondary and tertiary education he graduated with B.Sc. hons in Economics at Nile University of Nigeria Abuja. Recently he was one of the youngest to ever be awarded professional fellowship DOCTORATE by the Chartered Institute of Public Resources management and Politics Ghana.

Over the years he has been at the forefront of Youths Vanguard partnering with various Government Agencies and International Organisations like UNICEF, UNDP, Embassies, States etc, to promote Youths Developmental activities and Humanitarian Services in Nigeria. In-different forms. Earlier this year he and his team unveiled NYAN SDGs “SUMMIT in collaboration with the Brazilian Embassy in Abuja to engage the Youths in the implementation of the SDGs goals. Usman is equally the Convener General Sokoto Youths Forum.
