Many a time we are quick to point fingers at someone else for our misfortune forgetting that we too have a responsibility to change our lives or the world as a whole. Thus I am committed to help address causes of conflict which includes poverty, gender disparity, and ignorance through empowerment of individuals, group and communities in order to ensure justice for all. The passion to be a peace builder is a desire informed by past experience on the effects of violent conflict because I was born in violent conflict and grew up in it. My mission therefore is to assist others become change agents for I strongly believe that an empowered society has the ability to prosper.
