Srishti is a young law graduate and has enrolled herself at the State Bar Council as an advocate. She is presently undertaking her judicial clerkship programme at the Allahabad High Court, India. With active participation in multiple competitions all around, she has certainly challenged herself on different levels. She has published and presented her paper, which focused on the institutional discrimination faced by vulnerable populations on different levels. She describes her internship experience at the National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi as one of the most fruitful experiences, for she not only worked on her researching skills and learnt about the issues on a deeper level, but it was a starting point where she developed this interest to work in the field of human rights. She was also a senior moot court committee member in her law school days, where she was also awarded a token of excellence for her skills and sincere contribution. Since November 2019, she’s been associated with a London based organisation the National Alliance of Women’s Organisations NAWO, where she has actively participated in webinars and virtual conferences, where strong women from across the world have sat together to discuss about the women and gender rights and have inspired each other, and has also contributed in writing pieces in their monthly newsletters from time to time. She aims to broaden her understanding in this diverse field, and believes that she has miles to go.
