I am a French-Turkish binational, I can speak French and Turkish fluently, in addition to English. I have a bachelor’s degree in Political Science (obtained with honours at the University of Lille, France). In parallel to my educational formation, I had the opportunity to do internships at the Turkish Embassy in Brussels which helped me to major in diplomatic practices, as well as at the Geopolitical Research Centre “BILGESAM – Wise Men Center for Strategic Studies” in Istanbul.
I took advantage of the pandemic to specialise in the fields of action of the United Nations. To this end, I attended MOOCs related to international law and international relations, as well as on the relevance of weapons of mass destruction.
Being a very sensitive person regarding the fight against all forms of discrimination worldwide, I do believe that non-formal education is a very relevant method to achieve this purpose. In this regard, I had the privilege to participate in different Erasmus + projects in different countries (Greece, Turkey, and Georgia), which dealt with valuable and essential subjects related to the topic of this summit, such as Intercultural Awareness, Intercultural dialogue, Emotional intelligence, Compassion fatigue, human rights, the danger of intolerance, as well as climate change.
I do believe in the power of the cooperation of Youth people, in multilateralism, as well as in intercultural friendship. In a world continually driven by conflicts, wars, and injustice, we must act for Peace stability worldwide, and fight against intolerance as well.
