I am a junior Industrial Engineering & Business Analytics student at Sabanci University in Turkey. Until so far, I have always tried to gain as much valuable professional experience as I can. I have worked as a UX Research & Market Analyst at Mastercard and currently working in Strategic Planning Department at Cimsa Cement.

Alongside professional experience, I do my best to involve in my academics. I was Research Assistant on projects at Sabanci University related to gender equality and entrepreneurship topics. As an extracurricular activity, I find my passion in solving real business cases. So far, I have participated in more than 5 case championships with won awards.

One of the significant experiences throughout my university years is volunteering experience at Civic Involvement Projects. I was a supervisor at CIP, which aims to raise awareness about human, animal, gender, elderly, disability, and children’s rights. I organized activities and games with students and visited primary schools, animal shelters, and elderly pensions. I have taken courses to learn sign language as well. It gave me a crucial realization of the importance of minority and marginalized groups in our society. This experience inspired me to learn more about our complex community and contribute to raising awareness about different existing societal problems.

Also, I had a great chance to participate in a summer exchange program in South Korea which aims to gather young individuals from all around the world and educate each other about the importance of cultural diversity and inclusivity, peace, and mutual understanding in society. It highly influenced my personality development and understanding of how vital it is to support diversity, inclusivity, and peace in the world.
