I have been part of the NGO Paanchi which was involved in women menstrual health and hygiene sector. I was a part of the workshop wherein we went to a rural part of Nepal Rasuwa . We conducted a menstrual hygiene and health awareness program among students of a government school there. We focused on a reusable pads which is sustainable and cheap which would be a great choice for girls living there and it would help reduce plastic waste as well. We gave training on how to make reusable pads. The workshop was quiet a success and I learnt leadership skills, interpersonal skills and others. it made my heart really happy.
