Shilton Mavule is a Social Entrepreneur and a devout in Community Development, aiming to make positive impact and contribute to the development agenda. He is a philanthropist passionate about youth empowerment and engagement in education, entrepreneurship and employment as a key for sustainable peace and international development; making his passion the core for his work.
He has a degree in Library and Information Science and Economics from the University of Zambia. He also has a number of professional and service awards and certification in several disciplines including: Community Development, Understanding United Nations Universal Declaration for Human Rights & the Sustainable Development Goals, Influencing Change Through Policymaking, Communicating Ideas through Storytelling and Design, and a University certificate in Qualitative Data Analysis with NVivo & Writing.
He is the Founder of Mentor Dreams; a Youth Focused NGO and Owner of a local Transport business in Zambia.
In his quest to make meaningful Community impact he has severed with various organizations including: Building Futures, Zambia Association of Childcare Workers, Marie Stopes Int’l, Intrepid Research Agency, and The Parthenon Group of Singapore as a professional, volunteer, research associate and philanthropist.
He is a YALI Alumni and member of other Youth Networks.
