I am Shijin Varghese from Kerala, The Gods Own Country, in India.
I was honoured with a National Award by the Honourable President of India in 2013 for Social Service.
I have received a Kerala State Award. I represented Government of India as a Delegate to South Korea for International Youth Exchange Programme.
I have been working as a Social Worker for the past 10 years.
I am a Post graduate in Commerce and pursuing Master of Social Work.
I am a Yuvashakthi Cordinator of Kerala State Youth Welfare Board, Youth Coordinator of Vallicode Grama Panchayath, Personality Development Trainer for Schools, Colleges and Students, Former Volunteer of National Service Scheme,Kerala State Legal Services Authority.

I started a Non Governmental Organisation called Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial Sandwanam Charitable Trust, Kerala and l am grateful that we are doing all our works with the help of General Public, NGOs and Government Organisations. The support that showered upon us by the people is immense. The project was started in 2008 and still continuing . I firmly believe it lends a helping hand to those people who doesnt have any other resources to feed themselves.

Through this, more than 1000 students got benift with the light of Education, Tribal People were benifitted with provety erradiction, Constructed Houses for 6 hHomeless Families, Medical assistance were provided to more than 100 families, Skill Development trainning were benifited to more than 100 young talented students, Plastic Bag free Project was an exceptional project which put forward a great idea to be followed, Planted more than 10000 saplings with the help of public, our trust was indeed a great relief in flood relief works in Kerala, Awareness programmes help more than 1000 of students, Giving Nutritious food to children among school level, conducting Medical Camps in villages for early detection of diseases, conducting blood donation camps and lot of other initiatives.
