In Chittagong, Bangladesh, a region where mental well-being is often overlooked, I serve as a school counselor and psychologist. My dedication to mental health awareness has been a cornerstone since university, leading to active participation in World Mental Health Day programs. This year, I contributed as a panelist, fostering vital dialogue and challenging the prevalent stigma.
My passion lies in disseminating knowledge to cultivate a healthier community, especially where professional mental health support is scarce. I mentor junior psychologists, recognizing their pivotal role in fostering positive social well-being. Additionally, I organize training sessions and workshops to combat the pervasive lack of awareness. Through this work, I empower individuals with knowledge and support, nurture skilled professionals, and ultimately strive to build a resilient and mentally healthy society in Chittagong, Bangladesh, and globally.
