Shabnam Sarwari holds bachelor’s degree from science faculty of Kabul University. She currently works with German International cooperation-GIZ international Services in Afghanistan. Apart from university diplomas, she has been part of many short- and long-term programs in the fields of Education, Leadership, Gender & Environment and Peace organized by national and international institutes, and during this period she has received tens of acknowledgment letters. She has managerial, leadership and relations skills as she worked as a Vice Principal at Afghanistan International school. She is Alumni of USAID-Counterpart’s Emerging Civil Society Leaders for Afghanistan also, in 2018, she has participated in a Women Leadership Program in Japan held by United Nation Institute of Training and Research (UNITAR) being certified as future women leaders, she designed and implemented a project within the organization by developing Capacity Building training and female staffs’ management capacities policy. In 2019, her name was listed among the 100 women leaders, technical, gender and rights activists’ experts across all sectors of Afghanistan which USAID reflected these women Bio in their book.
