Sarah-Derval Ephosi Lifanda

Cameroon

Sarah-Derval Ephosi Lifanda is a Cameroonian peacebuilder and social justice advocate whose work is rooted in courage, compassion, and service. She is the Founder and CEO of Hope of Africa (HOFA) and the General Coordinator of the Southwest–Northwest Women Taskforce (SNWOT), initiatives she created to amplify women’s voices in peacebuilding, human rights, and community resilience during Cameroon’s Anglophone crisis.
Trained in peace, conflict, and international relations, with advanced learning from the United Nations, The United Edge, Swisspeace, and ICNC-USA, she combines professional expertise with lived experience. She has facilitated grassroots mediation, supported survivors of violence, defended civic space, and mobilized women across divided communities to move from fear to dialogue and leadership.
Her impact is deeply human—opening doors for women in decision-making spaces and strengthening civil society through empathy, inclusion, and courage.
