Saphal Subedi

Nepal

My name is Saphal Subedi, a 22-year-old hailing from Kathmandu, Nepal. I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, specializing in Automobile with majors like Organization and Management, Finite Element Method, Project Engineering, Project Management, Operational Research, and other core engineering subjects. Throughout my academic journey, I have honed my communication skills, leadership abilities, problem-solving capabilities, and developed a deep understanding of psychology, all of which I believe are essential qualities for a Peace Ambassador.
During my tenure as an Automobile Engineer at the Department of Automobile and Mechanical Engineering, Thapathali Campus, I actively contributed to the promotion of Electric Vehicles (EVs) in Nepal. Working alongside a dedicated team, we manufactured innovative projects that showcased the potential of EVs. I had the privilege to represent these projects and ideas at national seminars, shedding light on the importance of EV development and advocating for necessary changes in laws and regulations. This experience provided me with a platform to emphasize future possibilities in the field and the significance of sustainable transportation.
In addition to my involvement in promoting EVs, I have been an active member of various social organizations in Kathmandu. As a youth member of Smart Club Nepal, LEO Club Nepal, and Rotary Club Nepal, I have actively participated in numerous social activities aimed at making a positive impact in our community. These experiences have allowed me to collaborate with like-minded individuals and contribute to initiatives that address pressing social issues.

As a Global Peace Ambassador, I would add value to the Peace chain through my dedication to fostering peace, effective communication skills, and collaborative mindset. By actively engaging in dialogue and promoting understanding, I would strive to bridge divides and nurture a culture of peace. I would leverage my problem-solving abilities and empathy to address conflicts and promote peaceful resolutions. Additionally, I would actively advocate for peace, raise awareness about global peace initiatives, and engage youth in meaningful peace-building activities. Through these efforts, I would contribute to strengthening the Peace chain and promoting lasting peace worldwide.

In addition to my involvement in promoting EVs, I have been an active member of various social organizations in Kathmandu. As a youth member of Smart Club Nepal, LEO Club Nepal, and Rotary Club Nepal. Furthermore, I have served as an active member of the Free Student Union at Tribhuwan University. Through these roles, I have worked as a youth social worker, engaging in various social activities and providing assistance in these works.
