My name is Samara Anna Baboolal and I am a 21 year old law student from Trinidad and Tobago. My passions include debate, mental health awareness, economics, law, and politics. I am the founder of an awareness project called Warriors for Wellness TT which aims to break the stigma surrounding mental illness in my country. I am interested in specializing in either commercial law or financial crime. I am extremely passionate about accessibility to legal representation and legal aid. I strongly believe that equal access to legal representation is a humanitarian issue that needs to be addressed, especially within my community. I spend my free time volunteering at a legal clinic and at geriatric homes. In my free time I am a violinist in an orchestra, I do art, and I love to read! My number one aspiration is to make a positive contribution to my community and my country.
