My name is Saleem Malik I am a social reformer from Southern part of Kashmir valley of Jammu and Kashmir. I have done my masters in social work. I have been working in the field of social activism and re-formation from a very young age. The Kashmir Valley has been a hub of drug abuse from the past several decades I have been working for removing this menace from the society for past 15 years. I have helped countless number of young boys and girls in coming out of the menace of drug abuse. For several years I have provided free counselling to substance abuser to make their lives better. I have raised awareness about the ill effects of substance abuse on different platforms. During the Covid pandemic I worked for the people of my Kashmir Valley by providing and arranging necessary life-saving drugs which were not available in the market. During the Covid pandemic I along with my team arranged food and other supplies for those who were in need. I have also been instrumental in imparting education to the underprivileged children. I along my team have distributed books and other necessary items for education of the underprivileged children of Kashmir Valley from past several years. I have also attended DSP Konya conference 2017 & One Health International conference in 2018. In the year 2020 I was awarded with Kashmir young leadership award for my commendable work in the field of social activism by honourable lieutenant governor of Jammu and Kashmir. I have also been a part of several initiatives for social development of the downtrodden people of Jammu & Kashmir.
