I am a highly dedicated resourceful professional with 4 years working experience in the areas of policy research, peace, education in emergence, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, social accountability, gender mainstreaming, maintaining of project databases and preparation of strategic plans / annual work plans. I have demonstrated proficiency in implementation of sustainable Back-to-School Campaign project supported by United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Refugee camps (Kakuma and Kalobeyei integrated Settlement) in Turkana County, and other 15 Arid and Semi-Arid counties in Kenya. Have conducted assessment research in mobile school in Samburu, Isiolo and Wajir Counties, advocacy on Education Sustainability Development (ESD), mobilizing parents to take children to Early Childhood Education (ECDE) through the door-to-door campaign, development of key messages on ECDE and development of annual work plan for the Association.
During my advocacy work I have managed to take close to 100,000 out of school children in 16 marginalized counties back to school. I have also facilitated development of content and training of 47 national parents’ representatives on parental engagement and empowerment.
