My name is Regiane and I’m 24 years old, I live in Campo Mourão, Paraná, Brazil and I study Production Engineering at my city university (UNESPAR).
Since the beginning of my graduation I’ve been participating in volunteers projects, such as volunteering at Casa das Fraldas (diaper’s house) where they produce diapers for families that can’t afford it, I helped with the production and distribution of diapers.
In 2017 I was an academic monitor and I helped students that had difficulties with Calculus, so I was available for a few hours a week to help them besides the classes, it was a really important project for me, I learn how to deal with different perspectives of a problem and different people that learn in different ways, it was very rewarding to see them evolving with time.
And, most recently I’m part of AIESEC Maringá (Brazil), I work as a volunteer to develop leadership in young people through exchange programs based on the 17 SDGs, young people come to Brazil to impact companies, ONGs, their hosts and society and we also work to take Brazilians to other countries to impact with our culture.
