I have never experienced war in my life, that fear that you could be killed at any moment even when you are a civilian and you think everything is crumbling and it is unjust. However, I always felt empathy for people who cannot live properly, who live scared because of the thought that maybe they will be no tomorrow, or that they may lose the closest people to them in any moment. War is absurd, destructive and lifeless. I have attended many MUNs and helped organizing others, through these experiences, I have learned how different committees work, I have acquired a sense of diplomacy and debating. I am also majoring international studies, which helped me grasp and understand the structure of International organizations and their important role in promoting peace and fostering cooperation. I have also worked in a part time job at UCLGA.
