Lalaina RAKOTOARIVONY
Manager of development project, Consultant
“If we want, we can.”
I am a graduate in Cultural Engineering, Leisure and Tourism.
Recently, my nomination for the Foxclues International Leadership and Award Summit 2022 was selected. Prior to that, I was able to develop my leadership skills through political and Christian leadership training before joining the Youth Cultural Leadership Training program.
As a development project manager, I am currently a consultant and member of the advisory body of the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Committee within the Ministry of Education of Madagascar. Through my studies and training, I have led a multifaceted professional life in tourism, culture, education, and especially social and political issues.
An ardent promoter of culture as a powerful factor of development and an effective instrument for the promotion of the culture of peace and non-violence, I am committed to this field both at the national and international levels.
Last year, I was selected by UNESCO, the African Union and the government of the Republic of Angola to represent my country and its young leaders at the Biennale of Luanda 2021, Pan-African forum for the culture of peace. I am part of the community “social media engagement and communication task force” and on September 21, 2021 (International Day of Peace), I was part of the young leaders who covered the web with messages of peace not only to our respective communities and countries, but also to the whole world.
