Namaste!! My name is Pritee Subedi. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics at Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS). I am a global Citizen and am contributing towards maintaining peace and justice in my community. Being a global citizen , i feel responsible to create this world a more just, peaceful and sustainable for everybody to live in peace and harmony together, respecting the diversity present. I am an agriculturist by profession and passionate about farming and reducing food insecurity. But i recently took classes on Global Citizenship Education and now having realized the principles behind it, I feel as a responsible Global Citizen and am advocating for Peace, equality and ending anu types of Inequalities present in terms of gender, ethnicity, religion , economic background through awareness in our society and starting the initiative of Breaking the barriers for better to empower girls and poor, marginalized individual to bring them in the main stream of development. I am passionate about making this world a peaceful and better for everybody to live in contributing through agriculture sector and building peace and justice, starting from our own society where we live in.
