I, Prabin Dhungel would like to express my motivation for participating in Peace Chain and work for UN SDGs. I am most passionate about bringing changes in my community. Community plays vital roles in shaping us up, our growth and upbringing, attitude, beliefs, behaviors, socialization and education. It provides us safety, health, amenities and platform for honing our potentials and Socio-cultural assimilation. We owe a great deal to our community and thence, it is our duty and moral obligation to give it back to community. We cannot exist by detaching community from ourselves. Community is our lifeline, teacher and guardian. Our identity is linked with our community. It makes us what we are. It provides us moral, emotional, physical and financial supports. Giving back to the community is about giving time, resources, labor, expertise, love, affection and care to the members of community. It is not only about monetary support but about selfless emotions and sense of thanking community wholeheartedly. Making a difference in someone’s life is giving back to the community. It brings a big smile in the face of that person, which is the priceless feeling in the whole world. Smiles can be a sense of gratitude and admiration.
