S. Pathma Seelan, Vice President of Partners for Peace Malaysia is a youth activist and peace ambassador from Malaysia. Mr. Seelan has 19 years experience in youth NGO management (attended short course on Designing and Planning Project “Mastering Fundamental Project Designing Skills” certificate by NGO Management School of Switzerland), project management, youth empowerment, community development and promoting volunteering for peace locally and internationally. He is also a former Youth Ambassador of Change (Malaysia) for Global Youth Peace Fest in India (2016-2017) and Malaysian Youth Ambassador to India (Know India Program by Ministry of External Affair, India) (2009 & 2019).
Mr. Seelan is also a member of International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) – South Korea, International Youth Council, Service Civil International, Founder and Chairman of Malaysia-India Diaspora Association, Malaysia Indian Youth Council, Malaysian New Community Development and Awareness Association and Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI).
Through the experience of active involvement and maintaining a high level of youth and community engagement locally and international, Mr. Seelan has awarded as Youth Leader of the Year (Tokoh Belia) and received National Youth Premier Award (State Award) in year 2016 by Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia. In year 2017, he also received International Youth Leadership Award for “Inspiring Youth Leadership & Global Transformative Change” at 12th Global Youth Peace Fest at Indian School of Business, Mohali Punjab, India.
