I believe that if everyone will do something to help people our planet could be a little better. It’s always really important to care about our planet, about people around you. And it’s importatn to believe that you can change the situation. Because quite often the reason of inaction is the lack of belief.
I have studied for five years at the faculty of journalism and had undertaken 5 internships at the various media on the topics of the social problems and currently, I study to obtain my Master’s Degree in the International Relations. The topic of my thesis the “International Protection of Women’s rights”. Also, I work with research concerned the discrimination and violence on the base of the gender. In particularly with problems of as human trafficking, FGM, and violence towards the unprotected, I’m generally interested in volunteering (nowadays I work as an online volunteer at UN volunteer platform and do mapping for Tanzania to protect women from FGM) and working in the field of human rights. Also with a group of activists, we work on the project of promotion of Istanbul Convention in Russia. On the local level, we are trying to raise the awareness about home violence and to create the informational campaign to support women who faced the violence. I help with organization of various socially important events, such as Ural Music Night – the educational and music festival in Yekaterinburg.
