Annete is a Kenyan and a young emerging leader. She has earned bachelors degree in Commerce. She describes herself as a feminist, peace activist and human rights activist. She has volunteered in several organizations in finance and peace-building fields. Annete is currently a Peace Ambassador to iBuild Africa Organization, Global Peace Initiative and Global Peace Chain. She cultivates the art of peaceful dialogue and intercultural leadership. She mentors others to adapt the art of peaceful coexistence in their everyday lives. She is volunteering as the General Secretary(Kenya) for Great Minds Empire Africa. Annete has earned an Open Source Leadership 2018 badge by Common Purpose U.K. She is also a mentee in Global Thinkers Forum (Telemachus Program). Her interests lies in fighting against Gender Based Violence and Stigmatization of women living with HIV/AIDS, inclusion of women in leadership and decision making processes, inclusion of women in peace building and reconciliation processes, and Pan-Africanism.
