Nadir Huseynov is a dedicated youth leader and social innovator from Azerbaijan with strong experience in strategic development, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from Mingachevir State University, complemented by Erasmus+ studies in Business Management at Transylvania University of Brasov, Romania, and International Relations at Varna University of Economics, Bulgaria.
Nadir has led and contributed to numerous international projects in cooperation with the UNHCR, GIZ, the American Embassy in Baku, and other organizations, focusing on youth empowerment, women’s skills development, and social theater. He has represented Azerbaijani youth at international conferences and training programs across Europe, including Erasmus+ exchanges and the Model United Nations in Rome.
As Country Director of the Global Peace Chain in Azerbaijan since 2021, Nadir has organized the Global Peace Summit Baku 2022 and actively promoted intercultural dialogue and peacebuilding. He also serves as Regional Coordinator of the Robert Bosch Foundation Young Alumni Network, as well as Ambassador for the World Literacy Foundation and UNEP’s Tunza Project.
Through his leadership, Nadir continues to champion peace, sustainable development, and youth empowerment, striving to create inclusive opportunities for young people and contribute to a more peaceful and innovative global society.
