My name Naa Borkor Quartey, but I prefer to be called Jay. l’m from Accra, Ghana. I co-founded the Jaynii streetwise Organisation, a non-profit organisation that is alleviating poverty through education, health, sports, music, community development, and sanitation among the children and youth of Jamestown and it’s surroundings. After taking needy children off the streets and providing them with food, shelter, and clothing, I work to enroll all the children into reliable schools. To ensure the education is quality and worthwhile, I follow up and keep in contact with the schools the children attend. By receiving an education, these children will be better prepared to take on life. While I can assure that they will grow up receiving a good education, and I will always push them to reach their full potential, it is truly up to them to utilize their knowledge and make the best use of their abilities for their futures. By becoming a part of the Global Peace Chain community, I will help deliver these ideals to communities beyond my immediate reach.By joining the global peace chain community, I hope to expand the charitable hard work provided by the organisation to yet another part of the globe.
