I am Muzaffar Ahmed, Founder & Chief Functionary of “Public Peace and Development Foundation” A Non-Governmental Organization working for the internal peace and conflict resolution in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. I born in year 1989, it was the same year when Indo-Pak Conflict(Militancy) started. My age and militancy in the state of Jammu and Kashmir grew simultaneously.
I graduated from University of Jammu and Worked with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as a “National Youth Volunteer (NYV) in 2016-2018. In 2018 i got Sponsorship from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports for perusing Masters in Local Governance and Development at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) Chennai.
I am heading the Organization “Public Peace and Development Foundation” A Non-Governmental Organization working for the internal peace and conflict resolution in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. I worked with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as a “National Youth Volunteer (NYV) in 2016-2018 and worked for the Society in multi-dimensions at the gross root level. The Youth of Jammu and Kashmir is involved in the Militancy and Insurgency i want to work for them and through this organization we want to bring them back to the mainstream development. For doing this work i need number of stake holders from different part of the world and connect the youth of Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of the world, Link them with the Educational Opportunities, Economic Opportunities and employment Opportunities wherever possible. Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) Chennai gave me an opportunity to make my connections with different private & public stakeholders to make my dream true.
