I was born in Gombe State, in northeastern Nigeria, but raised in Maiduguri, Borno a region that has faced years of terror and crisis. Growing up where bombings and the loss of innocent lives were part of daily life, I learned resilience and the importance of hope. Despite these challenges, I have worked hard to reach the level I am today.
I began my advocacy journey two years ago, focusing on youth empowerment and community development. I have co-led school outreach programs, served as a campus ambassador for AmpliYouth Advocacy Academy, and represented young people internationally as an IMUN ambassador. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to creating platforms where youth voices are heard and to inspiring young people to take action in their communities.
My vision is to create safe spaces where children and young people can learn and grow, and to build systems that equip youth with the knowledge and skills to drive positive change.
