Dear Sir/Madam
I am Murad and I am a carbon based lifeform from the shores of Caspian Sea. At the moment I am waiting for my bachelor’s degree diploma and looking for master degree opportunities. As a BA student in the International Relations field since freshman year I’ve always been into Globalization studies and institutions which work in this area. During all these study years I have developed strong knowledge, perspective in the relevant field and I believe to have ample interest and motivation to be a part of this well aimed initiative as Global Peace Chain.
While doing my bachelor’s study at The University of Kocaeli, I had opportunities to develop my knowledge on global studies via various courses and subjects such as Globalization and Regional Integration and etc. Besides that, during the spring semester of 2019/20 education year as an Erasmus+ Exchange student at Tallinn University I took Globalization and Social Identity course which was lectured by Prof. Zabrodskaja and this experience also broadened my horizon vigorously. Moreover, as an active member of the university’s International Relations Student Club, me and other event managers of the club organised several seminars by inviting prominent member/ambassador students of several supranational non-governmental organizations. With the support of experiences of those individuals our students developed considerable knowledge about globalization and global peace studies including myself. Considering those theoretical knowledge, I believe with the opportunity that the Global Peace Chain provides I would gain considerable experience from the practical aspects also in the relevant field by applying the knowledge and skills which I developed as a student about these studies.
Furthermore, as a citizen of a post-soviet country which has suffered war and regional conflict for 30 years I know and appreciate the high value of the concept of peace and how desperately humanity needs it to develop as one Globe. From my perspective, organizations and initiatives like the Global Peace Chain are the only protectors of those values in this exhausted world right now. Therefore it would be a great honor if you would give me a chance to be part of this valuable attempt towards a peaceful globe.
Now, I want to end with the words of Albert Pike, “What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.” That has always been my life motto and I would gladly use it for the idea that your initiative tries to spread!
Thank you for considering my application!
