“Tolkyn is currently a final year student at M.Narikbaev KazGUU University, she is mastering “”Translation Studies”” and she also studies the majors of “”International Relations”” and “”Business Journalism””.
When the first-year student joined the international organization Enactus in 2018 and became the youngest project leader at Enactus Kazguu, Tolkyn began to delve even deeper into the study of sustainable development and Global Peace Missions.
In 2019, Mukhtarova Tolkyn, together with the Enactus Kazguu team, implemented her first socio-ecological project for the processing of banners and the employment of single mothers, the project was implemented in the Nur-Sultan and Kyzylorda cities near the Aral region.
By 2020, in cooperation with a subsidiary of BI Inno, the largest construction company in Kazakhstan, BI Group implemented a project to recycle parachute fabrics that were sewn by single mothers and were awarded at the largest BI Marathon to promote the eco-movement among the society.
Also, in the same year, Tolkyn, within the framework of the Aral Sea project, visited Uzbekistan, Tashkent city, in order to scale the local project of the Enactus Kazguu team, as a mentor and project manager together with five other team members. The “”Aral Sea”” project was included in the first national report of the Kazakhstan on the implementation of 17 SDG.
She is also an active participant in the Model UN Kazguu and records podcasts on VKontakte podcast and Spotify platforms. Tolkyn is interested in developing and promoting the goals of sustainable development and achieving peace, creating bridges between countries and individuals, and she is taking her first steps towards her personal mission to achieve peace and sustainable world.
