I am M. Waqas, a devoted student of computer science with a deep-seated commitment to making a positive impact in my community. Hailing from Karachi, Pakistan , my journey in social service began with a simple yet profound desire to make a difference in the lives of elderly individuals in my community.
Outside the realm of computer science, I have dedicated my time to supporting and assisting elderly people in various capacities. This experience has not only shaped my perspective on compassion and empathy but has also become an integral part of my identity. Through this journey, I have come to understand the significance of bridging generational gaps and fostering a sense of community that transcends age.
One notable achievement in my commitment to social service is my participation in the Aspire Leaders Program Conducted by Harvard University . This program equipped me with valuable leadership skills and deepened my understanding of the complexities of social issues. It was during this program that I had the opportunity to contribute to initiatives aimed at creating positive change, solidifying my resolve to be a catalyst for societal progress.
