I am Muhammad Shafayat Oshman, a resident of Bangladesh and currently working as a Lecturer at North South University, Bangladesh. I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering with distinction from North South University, Bangladesh and earned my Master’s in Computer Science from Carleton University, Canada, with a research scholarship award valued at 30000 CAD. During my undergraduate, I served as the Chapter Secretary for NSU ACM Student Chapter, the first official student chapter of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). During this time, I was involved in various activities to promote computing education amongst high school and college students of Bangladesh, with the goal of providing computing education to students who cannot afford to do so. I was also involved with various social activities through different volunteer organizations to provide access to education, access to food and access to safe homes to underprivileged children, youth and families, who work as underpaid labors in various industries.
