Mphatso Phakamisa is a dedicated youth leader and development practitioner from Malawi, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Gender and Development at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, set to graduate in November 2025. He serves as Vice President of the LUANAR City Campus Students Union, where he promotes student empowerment, gender inclusion, and innovation.
Mphatso led a successful school-based intervention at Njewa Primary School that reduced bullying and gender-based violence by forty percent through training and awareness campaigns. He is also a participant in the Aspire Leaders Program by Harvard University, where he is enhancing his leadership and global communication skills.
Passionate about peacebuilding, gender equality, and youth empowerment, Mphatso envisions a world where justice and inclusivity guide social progress. His long-term goal is to influence policy and community programs that strengthen peace, education, and equality across Africa.
