I have been a community development volunteer and Somali peace advocate for a number of years, encouraging social cohesion, communication, and coexistence. I have worked with local organisations on conflict prevention, youth engagement, and community awareness campaigns that encourage peaceful problem-solving and strengthen trust among different groups. I have witnessed firsthand how social support and peace can change people’s lives through my volunteer work in vulnerable communities. My commitment is to empower young people, promote understanding, and help build sustainable peace within Somali society.
