Imagine a kid who grew up from poverty. He grew up on his own for a very young age of 8 years old, and He wakes up every single morning carrying a rucksack on his back to collect empty glass bottles and metals just for him to have his own money for his daily needs in school. Fishing from rivers, and running errands from farmers for food is one of his major sources of food for daily living. His parents are separated, both sides struggled financially, and they were distant from him with having difficulties finding their own jobs. Plain and simple to say, this kid is just a vagrant. I want you to take a moment of thinking for a second and ask this question; What that type of life the kid has, What type of future he could have in his life? right?; The thing is, it doesn’t matter. Because what matters is, The kid I was talking about, is the same kid who’s writing this statement for you to read it. From a vagrant kid who raised his own life to a man who’s making his name throughout the history books. And now, He’s on a mission to make a change for others. Now, Who am I?; Allow me to re-introduce myself; My name is Nicco de Vera, I’m a Civil Engineering, Architecture and Politics and Government student. I’m an ambassador of MBRU against Covid-19 and played my contributions serving the country for frontliners against the pandemic during lockdown, I was trained by the World Health Organization for Covid 19, I am a student member of Civil Engineering and Architecture organizations and institutions around the world, and currently training in Unitar organization associated by UN for world peace and planet sector.
