Meron Zenebe is a dynamic and purpose-driven young leader from Ethiopia, dedicated to volunteerism, peacebuilding, and community development across Africa. She serves as the Director of Volunteerism, Talents, and Skill Sets at the African Union Youth Assembly (AUYA), leading youth engagement and skills development initiatives. As a Peace Dove Committee Leader with the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG), she promotes women’s active roles in peacebuilding. Meron has contributed to major international events, including volunteering at the UN-ECA Internet Governance Forum, and has worked with Ethiopia’s Ministries of Education and Health on education and blood donation campaigns. Her coordination experience spans high-profile events like the Great Ethiopian Run and Startup Ethiopia. Recognized with the Volunteer Impact Award and a “Woman of the Year” nomination, Meron continues to champion youth empowerment, social good, and sustainable peace across communities.
