Marcial Kambala Pewa, is the son of António Pewa and Victorina Tchinjombe, both of Angolan nationality. Therefore, Marcial was born in Angola in Benguela Province, specifically in the city of Benguela on the 5th of June 1991.
Work experience:
Marcial has 10 years of experience working in social projects through NGOs and the Church. In this order of ideas, it is worth remembering that Marcial worked for many years at the Angolan NGO called OHI and for 10 years he led actions of the Christian religion of the Gestemane Pentecostal Church as general secretary from 2011 to 2014 in Benguela and also led projects funded by the Institutions:
1st Fight against Malaria Project implemented in Angola in Benguela province funded by ExxonMobil from 2012-2016.
2nd Community Health System Strengthening Project/RSSC Project implemented in Angola in Benguela Province, financed by World Vision through the Global Fund financing line from 2016 to 2018.
3rd Project Strengthen the National HIV+ Response/FRN-HIV+ Project in Angola, implemented in Benguela province, financed by the UNDP through the financing line of the Global Fund from 2016 to 2018.
Fruit of positive and viable work experience to achieve progress, since May 29, 2019 Marcial founded, legalized and became Executive General Director of PEWA CONSULTING INTERNACIONAL and Focal Point of ADI Canada in Angola through PEWA CONSULTING INTERNACIONAL, in scope of the project Strengthening Angola’s economic and social policies.
TRAINING TRAINING:
1.1 Biblical interpretation and strategic communication to the faithful during religious worship, for a period of 1 year. It should be noted that the training took place in Benguela.
1,2. Moderation and preaching of the religious service, for 2 years and 3 months. However, it is correct to consider that the training took place in Benguela province.
1.3. Trained in SDMX, as part of the programmatic preparation for the 8th Conference on Global Statistics on Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX) from 20 to 23 September 2021. Therefore, training was supported by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography of Mexico (INEGI ) and sponsored by the seven SDMX sponsoring agencies (Bank for International Settlements, European Central Bank, Eurostat, International Monetary Fund, Organization for Cooperation and Development, United Nations and World Bank) and the Inter-American Development Bank.
1.4. Good governance, public policy, democracy, human rights and fiscal transparency. Therefore, the training was coordinated by the American organization Search for Common Ground / SFCG in collaboration with the Angolan NGO OHI. However, I would like to mention that the training took place in the meeting room of the Serra da Leba hotel, in the Municipality of Benguela, in 2014.
1.5. Methods for analyzing the impact of the project implemented in the communities. The training took place in 2014.
1.6. Preparation of Programmatic Report and Final Communiqué in 5 steps. The training was coordinated by the Angolan NGO OHI in 2014.
1.7. He was trained in Social Marketing precisely by the American NGO PSI in collaboration with the Angolan NGO OHI. Therefore, it is worth considering that this training was supported in 2014 in Angola, province of Benguela.
1.8. Strategies to influence communities and sex workers (Sex Workers) and clients in HIV prevention. This training cycle was coordinated by the American NGO PSI precisely in collaboration with the Angolan NGO OHI in 2013.
1.9. Attended the training of trainers of public health agents, this through the project financed by the Angolan NGO OHI precisely by World Vision through the funding line of the Global Fund 2016/2018. Therefore, the training covered areas such as: •Monitoring and Evaluation, coordinated by Word Vision, within the scope of the Strengthening of the Community Health System (RSSC) project; • Communication techniques, coordinated by Word Vision under the Community Health System Strengthening Project (RSSC); • Nutrition (pregnant women, child nutrition, family nutrition), coordinated by Word Vision, within the framework of the Surveillance of the Community Health System (RSSC) project; • Prevention of malaria at home and in the community, coordinated by Word Vision, within the framework of the project to strengthen the santé communautaire system (RSSC); • Tuberculosis Prevention, coordinated by Word Vision, within the framework of the project to strengthen the santé communautaire system (RSSC). • Prevention of HIV and sexually transmitted diseases (STI), coordinated by the American NGO Word Vision, under the project to strengthen the health system in communities (RSSC); • Communication to change the behavior of families and assistance to Health Units, coordinated by Word Vision, within the scope of the project to strengthen the community system/RSSC.
PROFESSIONAL COURSES:
❖ Computing. It is important to remember that the course in question provided him with in-depth knowledge about the correct use of the Word, PowerPoint and Excel tools from the Microsoft Office package, but it must be concluded that the course was held in 2012;
❖ Techniques for Elaboration, Monitoring, Evaluation and Management of International Cooperation Projects, was facilitated by agronomist consultant Alessandra Brunelli. However, it is logical to remember that the training was organized and coordinated by the COSPE ACADEMY with funding from the European Union, in the Baía-Azul meeting room of the Mombaka hotel, in Benguela province. Therefore, this course was completed in 2018.
❖ Demystifying Public Debt, a course designed and carried out by the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa Angola (OSISA). Therefore, this course was held in 2020.
LITERARY ABILITIES:
1. Attended and completed High School in the Course of Economic and Legal Sciences in 2011, at school El-Óscar in Benguela Province.
2. Joined the Faculty of Law at the Katyavala Bwila University in Benguela in 2013. Therefore, he successfully completed the 1st year of law school and unfortunately paused the law school in the 2nd year, this in 2014 logically for complex and sensitive reasons.
3.Graduated from the University of Georgia in the Specialization of Conflict and Security through a sponsorship or grant from the US Department of State under the ACEA Program 2021/2022, this in Courses: 1st Productive Engagement with the Government; 2nd Inclusion and Governance with Diversity; 3rd Media management as a bridge between government and civil society.
ENGAGEMENT IN EVENTS DURING THE YEAR 2021:
➢ 1st Participated in BASEM Spring Conference 2021 – Hip and Groin vision day. Adding focus on an unreal world, which was held on May 28, 2021;
➢ 2nd Participated in the 8th Global Conference on Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX) September 27-30, 2021. ➢ And, 4th As a result of its positive, ethical and responsible social involvement in the processes of innovation and entrepreneurial education for children, young people, the city and society, I was selected as INNOVATIVE EDUCATOR AS A CHANGEMAKER AWARD 2021. In this logical order Marcial Holds a certificate of honor entitled “INNOVATIVE EDUCATOR AS A CHANGEMAKER AWARD 2021” as a result of the recognition of his excellent contribution to quality education. Therefore, this certificate was awarded at the International Innovative Future Education Summit & Awards 2021 with the participation of more than 50 Countries, held virtually on October 16, 2021.
