Marabi Amfaal Hydara is a young guy, who was born in Darsilameh Sanghajorr, Foni Kansala, West Coast Region, The Gambia.

He attended Mauritania Cultural and Complex School, where he was taught on English, Arabic and French, and then to Tallinding Islamic Institute where he sat his High School Certificate examination in 2016.
Upon completion, he gained admission to the Gambia College School of Education, studying Advance Diploma in Education majoring Islamic Studies and also Studying BA in Arabic Language and Linguistics at International Open University.

He has over nine (9) years of experience in community services. Currently, he is the Restoring Family Links Regional Focal Person at Gambia Red Cross Society, where he focuses on sensitising the general public on how to be reunited with their loved ones who have disappeared as a result of conflict, disaster or migration by collecting such cases and tracing them. He also serves as the president of Kids Community Library, where he seeks scholarship from donors and spends it on underprivileged students to continue their education in all levels. He is studying Advance Diploma Secondary in Education at the Gambia College.
He is committed to Civic Leadership and community development, and has been serving his community tirelessly.

He is a bona-fide member of many organisations within and beyond the country. To name few, Side By Side Organisation, Netimpact-the Gambia, Your Chance For a Change, Youth Employment UK Young Professionals, United Nations Volunteer, Gambia Red Cross Society and etc.

In his capacity as a volunteer, he served Bundung Home Red Cross Link as an Auditor, Resource Chairperson, Information Education and Communication Officer and current the Executive Adviser, former President of Tallinding Islamic Institute Red Cross Link, former Chairman of the Students’ Union of Tallinding Islamic Institute and currently the president of Gambia College Red Cross Link and Co-Founder of The Federation of Arabic School Red Cross Links.
He is a Global Youth Ambassador for Theirworld based in UK. A group of young people who advocate for every child to get into school and receive quality education which is free from all kinds of violence. Also, a Youth Ambassador for International Youth Society.
Furthermore, he is currently a Trainer/facilitator on Dissemination of the ideals and the principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement at the Kanifing Municipal Red Cross Branch.
