I am Mai Yehia lives in Egypt. I have three years experience in pharmaceutical field as quality control specialist ,and eight years experience in the nonprofit sector. I have done many volunteer work in eight years to promote peace.I am a coordinator of World Peace Campaign 2019, it Is an initiative founded to bring all the peace ambassadors, peace builders, influential and powerful leaders, emerging young leaders together to take actions about Peace. Our actions is to make peace a reality in the world, peace has no boarders. We are calling for all wars to be ended now. Our actions taking is to let everyone around the world voice up and speak about peace. We hope that our Voices will ring beyond these walls, and be heard across all lands, especially in parts of the world where the specter of conflict, poverty, climate change, injustice continues to take its burning toll upon the young people, women and elderly. This year’s international peace day theme is Climate Actions For Peace 2019. We change the strategy of watching things just happening without our actions. This year, we thought it could be made different. ,and I also have been nominated as Egypt Ambassador to Goodwill Ambassadors Program, which is about prevention of child abuse it’s a musical entertainment program for children to prevent sexual and verbal abuse and the use of children in work and stop bullying against children and also stop the phenomenon of abduction of children. Am also ambassador for Pakistan safety council ,WISH is a grassroots organization founded by a PSC group of professional women working in various industry sectors in the health and safety field.Our vision is to make a measurable difference in building a better future for women working in OH&S. WISH is dedicated to support, educate and help facilitate the advancement of women in the Health and Safety field. I also work for Talklove Africa Foundation, it’s a not-for-profit, non- governmental organization that empowers and meet the needs of the less privileged children, vulnerable women and destitute. We strive to be an inspiration to a new generation that supports a cause that has been long neglected through love and generosity. Our mission and purpose is to empower and meet the needs of the less privileged children, vulnerable women and destitute. These we achieve by helping them overcome the burden of poverty, live a healthier life, and receive counseling, access free education and empowerment program. I also work as volunteer for Egyptian Red Crescent ,I also volunteer for Life Makers Egypt (LMF) it’s is a national, non-governmental, non-profit, voluntary-based organization that has been working since its inception to develop young people to build their capacity to work on community development and respond to their humanitarian and relief needs. And finally I volunteer first then work for resala charity organization One of the largest charities in Egypt and the largest voluntary-based entity in the Arab world. Resala have more than 60 branches spread across Egypt and volunteers every year more than 200 thousand volunteers serving millions of Egyptians in about 30 volunteer activities, including orphan care and the elderly and the accommodation of street children and the service of the blind and deaf and people with special needs and lessons Free of charge, literacy, used clothing fairs, blood donation, computer education, languages, human development, the Holy Quran, aid to the needy, good caravans for poor villages, medical convoys, treatment of addiction, feeding of the poor, production projects for the poor, reconstruction of mosques, schools, Achieving the wishes of the children of cancer And moral awareness of young people and cleaning the streets and parks and publish pleasure among the people and animal welfare.
My advanced knowledge of chemistry and microbiology enhanced by my study in faculty of science benha university,and graduated from it which gave me a unique skills set which I utilise it in various sectors with equal success.
