My name called Maganga Mihayo Lucas from Tanzania, a professional social worker and sociologist. I hold a Bachelor’s in Sociology and Social Work from Mwenge Catholic University, where I served as Student Member of Parliament and Class Representative.
I currently volunteer as a Social Welfare Officer at Kahama Municipal Council, supporting vulnerable groups, facilitating youth and women’s loans, and promoting social inclusion, while also working as a Research Officer on ORTUS LIMITED on the project called Mwanzo Mwema project focusing on reproductive health and EACOP projects. Even though work with HelpAge and UNFPA organization as Trainer of Trainee ( TOT) on the project called “My rights, My choice ” project at shinyanga Regional since 2023. I have experience in research, project proposal development, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, and community training on gender-based violence and rights awareness. I apply my skills and experiences to strengthen social cohesion.
