Ms. Loycana is currently an Undergraduate student of Ardhi University pursuing Bachelor degree of Science in Environmental Engineering. As a university student, she manages both studies and participating in different community development activities in her community efficiently.
Currently, Ms. Loycana has been selected as A Global Peace Chain Country Ambassador for 2018/2020 whereas her recognition to inherit dignity and people’s right foundation for promoting peace, freedom and justice in the country. As a GPC ambassador, Ms. Loycana is committed towards UN designated SDG’s. She is highly motivated and passionate on influencing and participating in all aspects of development and peace promotion in her community and the entire country as a selected ambassador.
As a youth passionate on development through working and volunteering, Ms. Loycana is currently volunteering with different organizations. She is one among the active member of The Restless Development club, The East Africa Community Youth Club, The Tanzania Youth Environmental Network (TAYEN) volunteer, and Help to Help, Technology For Gender Empowerment and Employability (TGEE).
Apart from experience and profession, Ms. Loycana has participated in various trainings including, The IT Boot Camp for Gender Employability (TGEE), The International labour organization (ILO) and EduGuide Self-awareness and Entrepreneurship Sensitization Training, The National Service Training and The Student for liberty Conference Africa.
Through different trainings, working and volunteering experiences, Ms. Loycana has acquired different skills such as, Computer skills, communication skills, leadership skills, Cultural Sensitivity, strong interpersonal skills of problem solving and ability to work independently and cooperating with different people effectively to meet the targets.
