Lorela Musta is co-founder and Executive Director of STEPS Center (Non-Profit Organization) that works on raising awareness, promote social inclusion, peace, empowering people with fewer opportunities, increase youth capacity through education, artistic and psycho-social initiatives. Ms. Musta holds a Master Degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of Tirana, certified as an excellent student.
She has also been involved in community activities for more than 8 years in several organizations and initia-tives that focus on young people and marginalized groups. In 2015 she received the “Volunteer of the year” prize by the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth, and in 2016 nominated for the European Citizenship Award. Since 2016 she lead a Volunteer Program Social Artistry “Colorful People” that works on social in-clusion of visually impaired children/youth and changing perceptions of the society about disability through art (art therapy, painting, art work with recycled materials, exhibitions as a way to promotion their art work), campaigns, also development of social competences: build self-confidence, emotional stability etc.

Ms. Musta was part of a six-weeks Fellowship Program in United States about Community Organizing and now she is part of the Professional Fellows Network Us. State Department working as a community organiz-er in her community. Ms. Musta has been a trainer for GLOW Program (Girls leading our world) which works on girls’ education, empowerment, personal development etc. She has experience as a trainer working on human rights, emotional intelligence, career orientation, constructive communication, forum theatre, per-sonal development, gender stereotypes etc. Her training experience is to do with different target groups, mainly young people, teachers, people with disabilities. Usually she prefers to use non-formal education methods, interactive methodology that suits the needs of the community. She has been working as Project Coordinator and Organizational Psychologist for Tirana Cultural Center (Metropol Theatre) administered by the Municipality of Tirana since 2016. Her work extends to the socio-cultural education programs of young people and marginalized groups.
In her free time Ms. Musta she is passionate about traveling and discovering new places, cultures, meeting new people and practicing adventure therapy it helps her to be more creative in other aspects of her life.
