Lee Ann Edgar is an educator and youth activist whose work within the community and country feeds directly into the SDGs. She has worked with various NGOs to push the youth agenda at the national level, focusing on road safety initiatives, gender equality, educational reform and freedom of speech. She also serves as a mentor within the department of Youth & Sports’ mentorship program.
She is also a student pursuing a degree in Education from the University of the West Indies.
Within her educational institution she serves as a teacher advisor to the Students’ Council, a debate and public speaking coach.
On the international level she has served as a judge for the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay competition, a Commonwealth fellow and a member of the St. Lucian delegation at several forums focused on SDG action.
