Kian is an outstanding 18-year-old youth leader from the Philippines and a freshmen
student from Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English at Polytechnic University of the
Philippines – Santa Rosa. He became a Student Council President twice from different Schools
and the former Federated Supreme Student Government President in Santa Rosa City. He is
passionate in striving excellence for the Filipino Youth and be the catalyst for change where he
serves in different National and International Organizations such as Chapter Head of Laguna at
Voice of the Youth Network; Division Chief for Organizational Membership at Samahan ng
Kabataang Boluntaryo ng Pilipinas; Junior Officer for Education and Research at International
Youth United; former Junior City Councilor of Santa Rosa, Laguna; Crisis Management
Committee at Street to Schools; Provincial Ambassador of Laguna at Global Institute for Youth
Development; Member Development and Training of Membership and Governance Committee at
2030 Youth Force Philippines; an Ambassador at Makesense Philippines and Global Youth Model
United Nations. Meet Kian Hermosa, a young leader for sustainable cities, a recipient of gold
medal for academic excellence from the Philippine Senate and a Gerry Roxas Leadership Awardee
for being a leader of Integrity, Service and Excellence.
