Kiala Pedro Vata is a UN and African Union Volunteer highly motivated and thoughtful leader and innovator who has incredible achievement from voluntary in the field of health and iliterancy awarness, susteinable development, youth empowerment and uneployment and food security and nutrition. Through these experiences, he developed leadership, strong project coordination and implementation skills. has eight years of experience in the nonprofit sector, and earned a Bachelor’s of Business Management from the Technical University of Angola. While working as a Community youth leader.
Previously, Kiala worked in several social impact projects and with a community-based organization as volunteer to advance education and promote children iliterancy awareness. currently he Works as vice-president of Youth Solidarity Association (NGO), He is now combining his business Manegement background with is interest to empower a uneployed and creative youth people, he intends to implement a project to mitigate the impact of this particular problem, which will be called “share Connectios ” that wil allows these young people to share connections, achieve partnerships, mentoring and even support and funding to implement their ideas and serve as a link to other young people and so on. Over the next six or ten years he intend to be involved in the planning and development of projects for this sector, to advise or act as technical consultant in the area of Public Management, especially in regions where public service is not very present (as is the case of communities rural areas), especially in civic engagment, health and education issues.
He is also leading a youth team of medical students to conduct research to adress a food security and nutrition issue in rural communities, a Project that he hope to be implemented in January next year 2022, as activist, he is currently on learning journey in matters of policy making, that the reason he choosed Public management and governance track at YALI RLC – SA COHORT 19, to deepen knowledge in this regard, especially in terms of public policies that afects education, health, employment sistems or youth participation, starting from this priciple my aim is to educate and aware young people on the importance of exercise their social responsabilitie and foster their engagement for sustaining peace through Social Equality, further build their capacities for advocacy on standing for Equality, Justice and Human Dignity and SDG´S and throught the AYOM Project promote a national dialogue conscience to enable young people to have a more active role in democratic debate and decision-making at all levels of policy formulation and implementation and enhance youth participation in governance.
