I am Khalifa Losene Dunor, the Founder and Executive Director of Center For Dignity and Inclusion CDI which is a non-profit organization dedicated to safeguarding children, promoting inclusive education, empowerment and protection from violence and exploitation against children in Liberia. I am a 27years old young human rights defender with 8yrs experience in the field of human rights specifically on Social, Economic, civil and political rights for sexual minority youths and children. Since the establishment of CDI I have empowered 150 children with digital literacy and leadership skills. Have pursued 7 cases of violence including 3 cases of trafficking in person against children, 2 cases of child endangerment and 2 cases of sexual violence against children and of these I was successful in repatriation of 3 of the victims of trafficking in person, prosecuted and provided medical and shelter for 2 of the rape victims and prosecuted the perpetrators of the child endangerment cases and provided the children with alternative care and shelter.
I have also served as the vice president and president of the African Union Youth Assembly Liberia charter. I have also served as a volunteer Ambassador of the World Literacy Foundation and Country Director of the African Youth Diaspora Youth organization in Liberia.
