Kevin Cabrera is a passionate 29-year-old professional from Honduras who has long been committed to promoting the well-being of his people and advocating for global citizenship and inclusive development. He holds a degree in Foreign Languages with a focus on English from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras, where he developed strong communication, intercultural, and leadership skills. Throughout his academic and professional journey, Kevin has actively participated in conferences and initiatives related to human rights, youth empowerment, and global leadership. Notably, he represented Honduras at a Model United Nations Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2019. He also dedicated nine months to serving as an interpreter for medical brigades with a non-profit organization, facilitating communication between international medical professionals and local patients and supporting the delivery of humanitarian healthcare services in vulnerable communities.
Currently, Kevin serves as the Executive Assistant to the Medical Director of One World Surgery Honduras. One World Surgery (OWS) is a humanitarian non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe, high-quality surgical care to the most underserved and vulnerable populations. Through its permanent surgical center and recurring international medical brigades, the organization delivers essential surgical services to patients who otherwise lack access to specialized care. Its mission focuses on serving those most in need, reducing healthcare disparities, and improving quality of life through compassionate, patient-centered surgical care and sustainable global health initiatives.
