I am a young individual of 21 years who is enthusiastically involved in meeting people and socializing with them. Currently i am a final year Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of the South Pacific majoring in Accounting ad Information System. I love to engage in diverse activities such as cultural, academic and community activities that helps me in building my career and develop my personality to be more approachable to people in helping them. I possess many leadership qualities as i served my school as the Head Prefect following which it gave me confident in understanding situations and how to lead a team. At present, i am the Vice President of the Accounting and Finance Student Association. (AFSA committee) that engages in activities which allows the fresher students to develop their network with the senior students and lecturers. As part of this we conduct activities that are both academic and non-academic which helps the students to take part in and get them involved so that they are not left out. As the university activities is concerned, i am also a student ambassador and my role in that is to guide and help the year 1 students to know more about the university and he environment as majority are new. I also put myself in doing extra curricular activities and one of which was taking part in the Global Enterprise Experience Program (GEE). This program was conducted between April to June where students from all over the world took part in and I was one of them who participated with students from China, Colombia, Iran, Netherlands, and New Zealand. This program was organized to write and submit a business proposal and our team focused on GreenSeace which is available on their website. More to this i love to take part in cultural activities where i am able t learn as much as possible so can i am able to pass it amongst my peers and the younger generation.

As we are in the era of internet generation and a fast moving life, there are many issues that concerns the life of many people. People are stressed, depressed and cannot make easy life decisions and they need support on high level basis. I believe as part of the Global Peace Ambassador program, i will be able to help spread the words of peace to everyone in our society. We can prevent every individual who is facing some form of anxiety, stress, threat, etc which could harm their lives. There are people who are not able to share what they are going through and we as the ambassadors should create awareness programs in each and every community so that we are able to reach the people in need. What matters now is to break the feelings of people hiding their feelings of what they are going through and this would be possible if we work hand in hand. There are so may crimes, and unlawful activities each and everyday, hour by hour and between seconds to minutes and this is to be put to stop or reduced in order to provide peace amongst our people in every community. I would give an example from my very own country Fiji. A particular student commits suicide due to pressure from peers and stress of rejection and depression. This may sound crazy but what the victim was going through is not known until the person has left. This is one of the places where we could have helped and this is the reason we are being created to reach every level possible so that every individual is heard. This is not only the problem in Fiji but at the international level it is so high. Many issues are their and these can be discussed and shared by this program in order to promote peace. We can definitely work hand in hand to provide what we can do at our level best.
